WHAM
In our animation we wanted to capture the fun and silliness of Whams' 'Wake Me Up'. We took inspiration from Nick Parks' stop-frame style. We introduced Jackson 5 style spaceworms, which we modeled from plastecine. Making worms dance was hard, especially with no arms or legs to animate but, this added comical value to the characters and the animation. We didn't want to take it too seriously and wanted the audience to stop, look and laugh.
